At CES 2026, AWOL Vision has announced the Aetherion series, including the Aetherion Max and Aetherion Pro. The line-up represents the brand’s most advanced projection technology to date and is the world’s sharpest 4K triple laser ultra short throw (UST) system. Built around proprietary PixelLock™ technology, a new precision optical engine, and a suite of class-leading innovations, Aetherion promises unprecedented performance across Speed, Scale, and Sharpness, setting a new benchmark for cinematic, sports stadium, and gaming-grade projection.

Combining 4K clarity at up to 200 inches, 1ms-class low-latency gaming, VRR, ALLM, 6,000:1 native contrast, 3,300 ISO lumens (2,600 ISO lumens for Aetherion Pro), and PixelLock™ technology, which fuses and synchronizes each pixel at scale for surgical, edge-to-edge sharpness, Aetherion is said to set a new performance level for ultra-short throw projection. It’s the industry’s first UST projector able to preserve full 4K detail at a massive 200-inch size, the company says.

“Aetherion is the culmination of everything we’ve learned in pushing UST boundaries,” said Andy Zhao, Founder & CEO of AWOL Vision. “It’s engineered to outperform on every axis, speed for gamers, scale for home-theater and sports enthusiasts, and sharpness that outclasses every 4K UST projector. Whether in the living room, man cave, or backyard, with Aetherion, you can see the difference down to the pixel.”

AWOL VISIONIn other AWOL Vision news, Valerion by AWOL Vision announces the integration of its groundbreaking Anti-RBE (rainbow effect) technology across its entire premium long-throw projector lineup. Delivered via the latest Android software, alongside a required DLP software upgrade, this enhancement elevates the Valerion portfolio to deliver an even more engaging and powerful viewing experience, AWOL Vision says.

Originally developed for the flagship VisionMaster Max, Valerion’s Anti-RBE technology addresses one of the most widely discussed limitations of DLP (Digital Light Processing) projection systems: the perception of momentary “rainbow flashes”. These flashes can occur during fast-moving scenes or high-contrast imagery, when rapid colour separation results in brief red, green, and blue artifacts. While around 60% of viewers report little or no sensitivity to this phenomenon, the remaining 40% may find it visually distracting.

To eliminate this distraction, Valerion’s Anti-RBE technology increases the projector’s refresh rate and applies advanced image-processing algorithms that blend color sequences at speeds imperceptible to the human eye. The result is a smooth, unified image that effectively removes the rainbow effect while preserving image clarity, brightness, and motion sharpness, delivering a more immersive viewing experience and reducing eye strain for greater comfort during extended sessions.

“Triple-laser projectors like ours are inherently less susceptible to rainbow effects,” said Eason Zhu, Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of Valerion. “However, the Anti-RBE technology we developed for the VisionMaster Max has proven so effective, reducing rainbow artifacts to the point where they are barely perceptible, that we felt it should be available to every Valerion customer.”

Availability

Starting this week, the technology will be integrated into Valerion’s preexisting range including the VisionMaster Pro, VisionMaster Pro 2, StreamMaster Plus and StreamMaster Plus 2 at no cost to existing users. These models along with the flagship VisionMaster Max will be on display to experience throughout CES at the Valerion booth LVCC – Central Hall, booth 20410.
