CEDIA, the Association for Smart Home Professionals™, has opened global nominations for its annual Lifetime Achievement Award. The award, which began in 1992, recognises individuals who have made an extraordinary and lasting impact on the professional smart home industry.
All CEDIA members are eligible to submit one nomination now through 6 June, 2025. The Board of Directors will review the submissions and select a recipient based on their career achievements, and lasting impact on the smart home industry.
“The professional smart home industry is always looking ahead — and rightfully so,” said CEDIA Board Chairperson, Alex Capecelatro. “But the Lifetime Achievement Award gives us an important opportunity to pause and recognise the visionaries whose work laid the foundation for the future we’re building.”
The 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award recipient will be honored alongside fellow CEDIA Smart Home Award winners. The global award ceremonies are set to take place in the Americas on 5 September, APAC on 29 October, and EMEA on 7 November. Tickets will be available in the coming weeks.
Integrator submissions closed on 7 May. Submissions remain open across Business, Individual, and Manufacturer award categories through June 6.
