Panasonic has revealed its 2025 TV range, spanning cutting-edge OLED and advanced LED models, at a European launch event held in Wiesbaden, Germany. The unveiling underscored the brand’s continued focus on engineering excellence, advanced panel technology, and user-centric smart features, led by the Fire TV OS.
Panasonic told ERT it will be emphasising its ‘Japanese technology’ heritage this year. Consequently, the products were ushered in with dramatic taiko drumming, and attendees offered Japanese snacks.
Heading up Panasonic’s 2025 TV fleet is the flagship Z95B OLED, first seen at CES this year. It’ll be joined by the Z90B and Z80B. For buyers in the market for LED, there’s the new W Series (W95B, W93B, W85B), which aligns with the same Fire TV ecosystem.
Visually impressive, the Z95B is built around the new Primary RGB Tandem Panel, said to boost picture brightness by up to 40 per cent over previous generations, courtesy of a novel four-layer structure. Helping to maintain picture performance is a new ThermalFlow cooling system, borrowing from F1-style aerodynamic principles.
Picture processing is handled by the HCX Pro AI Processor MK II, supported by a new 4K Remaster Engine and improved streaming noise reduction. Dolby Vision IQ, Calman auto-calibration, and ISFccc support come as standard. Available in 55-, 65-, and a 77-inch screen sizes, the model also features an improved 360° Soundscape Pro Dolby Atmos audio system, with a larger 30W woofer.
The Z90B OLED lacks RGB Primary Tandem OLED glass, but is still positioned as a premium performer. It’s available in a wider range of screen sizes, 42-, 48-, 55-, 65-, and 77-inches. The Z90B’s sound system, dubbed Dynamic Theater Surround Pro, is bolstered by a 30W subwoofer and Dolby Atmos support. Providing an OLED entry point is the Z80B, available in 48-, 55-, and 65-inch screen sizes.

Panasonic’s 2025 LED TV range comprises the W95B, W93B, and W85B models. The Mini LED W95B (55-, 65-, 75-, 85-inches) pushes colour fidelity and backlight control further than before, featuring refined local dimming with over 2.5x the dimming zones of last year’s models. It also has a High Colour Gamut Backlight, and Hybrid Tone Mapping for superior HDR rendering. The W93B (43-, 50-, 55-, 65-inches) uses a high-brightness LED panel with 144Hz support and shares the same HCX Pro AI MK II processor, ensuring consistent visual performance across the upper-tier LED range.
Both W95B and W93B are Calman Ready and include Prime Video Calibrated Mode. Dolby Vision IQ and Dolby Atmos are standard, with the W95B further benefiting from a built-in 20W subwoofer and Dynamic Theatre Surround Sound.
The W85B (available in multiple sizes) rounds out the range, with a 120Hz LED panel, HCX processor, Dolby Vision HDR, and HDR Bright Panel Plus.
The range will be available via select retail and distribution partners from July 2025. Pricing details are expected closer to launch.
