Voting has officially opened for the highly anticipated TRIC Awards 2025! Once again handing the power to the people, TRIC is inviting the public to cast their votes – HERE – to help decide who will take home one of the trophies.
For the third year running the voting will be in partnership with TiVo, and by voters casting their votes they get the opportunity to enter a competition to win two tickets to attend the TRIC Awards in June, as well as a Smart TV Powered by TiVo.
From gripping TV dramas to laugh-out-loud comedies, fans can now vote for their favourite TV and radio programmes across a dynamic range of categories, including drama, soaps, radio personality, and social media broadcast.
Celebrating diverse and outstanding talent across TV, radio and online, the 2025 longlist is packed with both familiar icons and fresh contenders. Past winners such as The Chase, Ant and Dec, and That Peter Crouch Podcast return to the spotlight, joined by new and exciting names including Baby Reindeer, The Story of Band Aid, and Ally McCoist. Even beloved classics like Gavin and Stacey are making a comeback!
But time is ticking! The public vote is only open for a few weeks; it closes on 18 April 2025. The final shortlist will be revealed and the countdown to the ultimate celebration of broadcast brilliance will truly begin… The glittering 56th annual TRIC Awards ceremony takes place on 24 June 2025 at the iconic Grosvenor House on Park Lane in London.
This year also marks a new chapter for TRIC, with the appointment of TV and radio’s Dan Walker as TRIC President. And true to its commitment to supporting good causes, the 2025 Awards will also shine a spotlight on two incredible charities – Bright Young Dreams, chosen by Dan Walker, and UWC Atlantic, chosen in memory of TRIC Committee Member, Bob Suppiah.
Held since 1969, TRIC (The Television and Radio Industries Club) recognises the ‘Who’s Who’ of the industry. Celebrities and talent from TV, radio and online attend to celebrate the achievements of online and on-screen productions.
