Miele has introduced its KM 7897-2 Diamond Induction Hob, which features its latest DiamondFinish coating innovation. A special coating which results in clear reduction in the level of scratching, Miele’s DiamondFinish makes ceramic glass twice as hard as its conventional counterpart, therefore making Miele’s KM 7897-2 Diamond Induction Hob the hardest ceramic glass hob in the market.
Reducing scratches from cooking grit and debris by 95% and abrasive sponges by 70%, the high-quality appearance of the hob with its elegant black glossy finish is maintained over time, even with daily use. The hob has one large cooking area (870 x 380 mm) for ultimate flexibility and can fit a maximum of six pans, which the hob will automatically recognise the size of and heat in the most energy efficient way. TwinBooster allows for the power to be distributed individually or focussed on just one cooking zone.
A special printing underneath the ceramic glass prevents the pans from being too noisy when moved, while the intuitive control system makes it a delight to use daily. Cooks can use the Con@ctivity function to pair the hob with a Miele cooker hood for automatic and efficient extraction. For peace of mind, it features several safety features, including automatic switch-off, integrated cooling fan, overheating protection and various locking functions. When it comes to cleaning up, the hob is easy to clean thanks to its ceramic construction.
