Smeg reveals all-new website

Italian brand, Smeg, has unveiled its brand new website – – giving users access to a new all-encompassing digital experience of the brand. This is in response to so many of us spending so much more time browsing online, the company said.

Packed with exciting new features and functions, the site guides design aficionados on a journey through Smeg’s extensive built-in and freestanding appliance collections. Utilising a sleek, spacious and contemporary new platform, the site starts off classically monochrome, before breaking out to sections bursting with colour and lifestyle imagery. The site focuses on three main navigation pillars, enabling users to search by ‘product’, ‘aesthetic’, or simply seek ‘inspiration’.

When it comes to improved functionality, the site’s new product filters and comparison tools allow users to compare up to three products head to head, or just compare differences only. Product and category pages are brimming with new ‘highlights’ content, auto-playing videos and animation, all with the aim of explaining key features making it a great resource for finding out more.

In keeping with the company’s specialism of offering a plethora of product design choices, the new re-platform covers all bases from interior design and layout inspiration, to articles about co-ordinating with colour as well as all-new buying guides designed to help navigate the range’s product features with ease. There’s also a magazine style news feed, fresh recipe content as well as project case studies and interviews with designers and developers.

This minimalistic design aids site navigation while offering a user-friendly scrolling interface, perfect for tablet and smartphone browsing.

Detailed product information is easily accessible for all of Smeg’s appliances, giving users the opportunity to review technical specifications and images. The site’s stockist finder has also been renovated too for users’ convenience.
