Samsung has announced it has partnered with Warner Bros. Pictures alongside the release of BARBIE with the collaboration consisting of a Global retail activation and a European digital activation: BARBIE SmartThings DreamHouse.
The manufacturer also explained that its customers can watch the trailer in 8K on the Samsung in-store TVs, this is a part of a wider 8K content partnership between Samsung and Warner Bros. Pictures as they continue to provide 8K content in the future.
The brand has said the partnership is an exciting step forward in 8K content which will showcase Samsung Neo QLED 8K’s capabilities and get consumers excited about seeing films in cinematic quality ahead of their release.
Also launching in July is the BARBIE SmartThings DreamHouse which is available on Samsung.com. SmartThings connects devices and appliances in the home, it is one of the largest open ecosystems of connected devices, with over 150 million users worldwide and it also allows the consumer to monitor energy usage.
The BARBIE SmartThings home will be an exploration of Barbie’s iconic DreamHouse, showing how everyone can use Samsung SmartThings. For example, visitors to the dedicated page can explore how they can use the Galaxy Z Flip4 to play songs via the SmartThings app, add an extra pop of pink to their look with the Galaxy Watch 4 and use the Jet Bot AI + Robot Vacuum to clean the house.
