During these difficult and unprecedented times, it is vital that we take a moment to reflect on the positive. And now is the time to join together and get involved.
In light of the current circumstances, the entry deadline for retailers and manufacturers for the 2020 event has been extended to give as many people as possible the chance to tell us why they should win!
Retailers and manufacturers – you now have until Monday 17 August to get your entry in!
You can enter online in three simple steps. Simply head to www.ertawards.co.uk. Follow the ‘CLICK HERE’ button on the home page, select your category (or you can select multiple categories at the time of entering), supply your supporting information and media, and add your contact details.
For retailers – it’s important you write a great entry statement and provide any additional relevant information, such as your background, about your business and shopfloor, your digital platforms, your staff or your customer service. All this goes in front of our expert judging panel, so make it hard-hitting and concise!
For manufacturers – provide as much information as you can about your products and services, or about your team members if it’s the Independent Sales Representative Award, but remember that retailers may be quite familiar with you and your brand so don’t go too mad!
There’s plenty of help and advice, and more detailed information on the judging criteria for each of the award categories, on the ERT Awards website.
The retailer categories will be judged solely by this year’s judges, while the manufacturer categories are voted for by retailers using a dedicated online platform via the ERT Awards website. So manufacturers, now is the time to engage with your retail partners more than ever to encourage more votes!
By surveying the responses of ERT readers via this online platform, we will be able to get a definitive answer on who the best suppliers are, which new products have caught their imagination and which sales reps are really going the extra mile. 2020 goes virtual!
Winners will be announced at the prestigious ERT Awards 2020, which has now moved slightly later – to November – and will be a virtual live-stream event for the whole electrical retail industry! At this current time, the safety of attendees is essential so the decision has been made to host a digital Awards event. More information will follow soon!
Similarly, ERT’s Turning Point Live! conference will return this year but in a series of webinars so, once again, everyone can remain safe while still being able to take away advice and information on best practice in the retail market.
