Chord Electronics’ appoints Doug Graham as International Sales

Chord Electronics’ continuing expansion has led to the appointment of well-known ex-Naim Audio/Neat Acoustics salesman, Doug Graham.

Mr Graham will be taking on the role of International Sales, effective from the 29 July and will join Chord Electronics’ expanding sales team during a period of strong global growth.

Mr Graham brings a wealth of experience to Chord Electronics, following a three-year appointment with fellow British manufacturer, Neat Acoustics, and previously a 26-year appointment with Naim Audio. During his tenure at Naim, he spent the first five years establishing the brand in the UK and the remainder dealing with world markets, managing a highly successful sales team culminating in his appointment to Sales Director.

Commenting on the new role, Mr Graham said: “Having spent the last 40 years in the hi-fi industry, to be offered a role in such an innovative, forward-thinking company is an opportunity that I simply couldn’t resist. Chord Electronics is pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in audio replay and taking this innovative technology to a wider audience is a challenge that I’ll relish.

“John Franks has assembled a team of talented individuals who understand not just the technology, but customer service and support in a competitive market place. They’ve earned their success and I’ll be contributing to the next stage in the company’s development; these are exciting times for sound.”

On Mr Graham’s appointment to Chord Electronics, Sales Director, Colin Pratt, added: “As part of our commitment to supply first-class support to our partners, I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to employ Doug Graham to bolster our international sales team. Doug brings a wealth of experience which I am sure will benefit both Chord Electronics and all of our partners.”

Mr Graham’s move to Chord Electronics’ expanding international sales team follows the recent additions of Robert Wong as Business Development Manager and Maurice Tryner as UK Sales Manager. The enlarged, four-strong sales team will be supporting the company’s commitment to its expanding network of international distributors and dealers during an exciting time for the wholly-owned Kent-based manufacturer.
