Qualtex, a distributor and manufacturer of appliance spare parts, has won the Insider International Trade Award 2017 for International Company of the Year (£26m to £40m turnover).
The Manchester-based company was up against finalists TIMco, Medtrade Products and Mettler Toledo Safeline. It was awarded the prize at a ceremony, which took place on December 7 at the Lowry Hotel in Salford, Greater Manchester. The event brought together leading organisations from the North West.
Said Qualtex chief executive Philip Hulme: “We are delighted to have received this award against some incredible competition. It’s a testament to the hard work and effort put in by our team this year. We have expanded our business further around the globe and have acquired two new subsidiaries, Jegs Electrical and the Masterpart brand, which further increases our share in the market.”
