Sony has introduced what it claims is the next generation in television display technology with the ability to reproduce deeper black and brighter lights and the colour of the real world.
The brand says it has taken 4K High Dynamic Range (HDR) to a new level with ‘ultra-contrast’ to express what the content creators intended.
The new ZD9 series features a newly developed
4K HDR image processor and unique back-light technology.
The new X1 Extreme processor is refined with 40 per cent more real-time image processing compared with Sony’s 4K HDR Processor X1, and has a database for noise reduction.
The KD65ZD9 is priced at £4,000, the KD75ZD9 at £7,000 and the KD100ZD9 at £60,000.
