Sony has released two new full-frame lenses for its E-mount camera system – the FE 70-300mm f4.5-f5.6 G OSS telephoto zoom and 50mm f1.8 prime lens.
The FE 70-300mm telephoto zoom is Sony’s longest-reaching E-mount lens to date. It features aspherical glass elements, two extra-low dispersion glass elements and Nano AR coating. The lens has a minimum focusing distance of less than three feet. It also features built-in Optical SteadyShot image stabilisation, making it easier to capture clear images when using it handheld. The lens is available for a price of £1,150.
The fast FE 50mm f1.8 prime (pictured) lens weighs less than 192g and promises to deliver outstanding performance, compactness and value, making it perfect for amateur photographers and videographers. It has a retail for a price of around £240.
