Distributed by Connected Distribution in the UK, Russound has launched the MBX-PRE preamplifier and MBX-AMP amplifier – the first of its new generation MBX streaming audio system products.
The MBX-AMP is a 50 watts per channel zone amplifier designed to allow sharing of any multi-room audio speakers with a local TV.
The MBX-PRE has been designed to work with any brand of amplifier or receiver.
Both models feature built-in support of high-res audio, Bluetooth, Chromecast on board, Apple AirPlay, and voice control via Amazon Alexa. The MBX-PRE sells for around £400, and the MBX-AMP for around £500.
