HOME ENTERTAINMENT TRENDS: Roberts

Roberts has brought back its much-loved, classic 1970s Rambler radio, but this time it has today’s DAB technology built-in.

The Rambler’s polished wooden cabinet and metal grille are the same as when the product was first launched, except now it has 20 station presets and it can be programmed to wake you gently to the sound of the radio, or a choice of buzzers.

Available with a leather strap, the Rambler, which retails for £100, has DAB/DAB+ /FM RDS wavebands.

There is also an Eco power saving mode, an auxiliary socket for iPod or MP3 playback and a headphone socket.

The Rambler can be operated either from its internal batteries or from an AC adaptor, which is included in the price.
