It boasts full HD resolution, while software and hardware upgrades mean that this model has a quicker response time than its predecessor. This model also offers a contrast ratio of 80,000,000:1 and is fully compatible with Windows 8.
The new monitor, says Hannspree, has been slimmed down to give it a more elegant profile, and includes a fully tilting stand. Retail price is around £279.
