HOME ENTERTAINMENT TRENDS: Elipson

Following the successful launch of its first premium Bluetooth turntable last year, Elipson has unveiled its new flagship turntable – the Omega Carbon Black.

Based on the Omega 100, this Carbon Black version features a number of enhancements, including audio performance, functionality, user experience and hi-tech aesthetics.

The use of carbon-fibre has been extended from the tonearm to the subchassis in a bid to provide added rigidity. The tonearm has also been equipped with an Ortofon 2M red cartridge and a new aluminium cueing lever lift arm has been added for enhanced user experience.

The turntable can easily be connected to any Bluetooth speaker via its aptX BT function. It also has a phono stage built in, which allows users to connect it to the line input of any amplifier.

The turntable is available in two versions, with or without phono stage and Bluetooth. The Omega 100 RIAA BT Carbon Black (phono and Bluetooth) is available for £699 and the Omega 100 Carbon Black for £549.
