Caple’s new DD931BK induction hob includes an integrated downdraft extractor that lowers into the work surface until needed.
The hood measures 510mm deep compared with the previous model that measured 630mm deep, meaning it should be easier to accommodate.
Made from frameless, bevelled-edge glass, it has slider touch controls and four speeds, including a booster option and a bridge function that allows two zones to be combined.
The hob also includes residual heat indicators, a safety lock, automatic safety shut-off and anti-overheat.
The hob and extractor in one has a retail price of around £3,300.
