Beko’s new American style fridge-freezers use EverFresh+ technology, which Beko says will keep food fresh for up to 30 days.
This should help reduce waste in a nation renowned for throwing large amounts of food away every year. It should even allow consumers to shop less often. To further prolong the life of stored produce, they also feature a humidity-controlled salad crisper compartment.
The integrated handles also change colour, showing a red light if the door is left open, green for normal operation, blue when quick cool or freeze functions are running and yellow when it is in holiday mode.
Available in black, stainless steel and silver, the new fridge-freezers are available at prices starting from £799.
