Meet a new Buddy at iFi’s stand at IFA

Audio brand iFi will be demonstrating the latest additions to its line-up at this year’s IFA show in Berlin (September 1-6) and announcing a new strategic tie-up with hi-res audio format pioneer MQA.

Products on display include the iGalvanic 3.0 (pictured), a sound-boosting device for USB-connected computer audio systems, which will be available in early September.

Also there will be its Ear Buddy – a low cost plug-in headphone optimiser that attenuates the output signal to better suit headphones with high sensitivity and lowers background noise, which is said to improve the dynamic range and increase the usable volume range. The Ear Buddy is available in mid-September.

The show will also see the preview of the brand’s new portable DAC/headphone amp, which will be available in Q4 2017.

New strategic tie-ups will also be announced, including the implementation of MQA in new product lines.

iFi can be found in Hall 1.2, stand 126.
