Linsar bought by Australian Tempo group

UK TV brand Linsar announced today that it has been acquired by the Tempo Group in Australia for an undisclosed sum.

An official statement said that the deal would enable Linsar to “develop significantly in the UK and beyond, backed by a first-class supply chain and product range”.

Linsar director Barry Kick (pictured) said of the acquisition: “Linsar are delighted with the acquisition of the brand by Tempo. It will secure the future of the Linsar brand and further develop its value to our amazing customers.”

A spokesman for the Tempo Group commented: “Tempo is excited to have the Linsar brand in the Family, and together we will continue the Linsar story.”

Tempo is a premier supplier to the home appliance market in Australia, New Zealand, the UK and USA with offices in Australia, China, the UK, Europe and America.
