LG to expand InstaView refrigeration line-up

LG is expanding its InstaView Door-In-Door refrigeration range.

At its InnoFest Europe event in Cannes, France, the Korean electronics giant announced that the InstaView Door-in-Door functionality, which was previously available on the brand’s premium side-by-side model, will now be featured on its multi-door appliances. The company unveiled a matt black finish.

LG also revealed an updated TwinWash washing machine, which features Next TurboWash technology. This, said LG, ensures that all areas of the drum are covered during a washing cycle, thanks to the machine’s multiple nozzles.

The InnoFest Europe event also saw the launch of LG’s new 24in [600mm] dryer – the RC90U2AV2W, which features state-of-the-art inverter technology.

Said Song Dae-hyun, president of LG’s Home Appliance and Air Solutions Company: “We’re eager to introduce our new 24in dryer to our consumers in Europe.

“Our new dryer is equipped with LG’s revolutionary Dual Inverter Heat Pump to offer peak performance and efficiency. The high level of care and dedication LG puts into enhancing user convenience has propelled us to the forefront of the industry, and will continue to motivate us moving forward.”

All of these appliances feature ThinQ AI technology, which allows users to connect and control devices through voice by using either the LG or Google assistant.

ThinQ AI is also featured in the brand’s OLED TVs and speakers, which includes the newly launched ThinQ smart speaker and SK9 and SK10 soundbars.

LG revealed that ThinQ would work with a number of competitor brands. Its AI technology can be used to connect and control multiple devices from other manufacturers, as well as those from LG.
