Elipson enters turntable market
Loudspeaker manufacturer Elipson has announced the launch of its first ever range of turntables.
The belt-drive Alpha and Omega models offer wireless Bluetooth technology, while “retaining audiophile specification and sound quality”. They are also fitted with Ortofon’s OM5 and OM10 cartridge.
A total of seven models will be included in the line-up. Designed and manufactured in France, 80 per cent of parts are sourced and made locally – including the chassis, plate, digital motor system, central brass bearing, tone arm and phono stage.
The range will be initially launched at Sound & Vision Bristol on February 26 and will be available from March.
