Audio-Technica has taken the wraps off a number of new headphones at this year’s CES show in Las Vegas (January 9-12).
Launches include the next-generation noise-cancelling over-ear ATH-ANC700BT QuietPoint headphones (pictured), which claim to block out 90 per cent of ambient noise for an immersive listening experience.
The headphones also offer wireless operation, intuitive touch and swipe controls, as well as high-resolution audio playback when wired.
The “landmark” ATH-DSR5BT in-ear headphones feature proprietary Pure Digital Drive system technology, which “keeps the original audio signal completely digital from source to driver”.
The ATH-S200BT Bluetooth headphones are the brand’s first wireless headphones priced at just £59, with the over-ear model offering 40 hours of battery life.
Finally, the new wireless sports headphones – the ATH-SPORT70BT and ATH-SPORT50BT – offer a lightweight, weather and water-resistant design.
