Hi-fi and AV manufacturer Arcam is bucking the trend of price increases by cutting prices on key models.
Models included in the reductions are the Solo One-Box Systems and the FMJ Class G amplifier range.
The Solo Music Stereo model falls from £1,599 to £1,299, the Solo Movie 2.1 (pictured) from £1,799 to £1,499, while the Movie 5.1 drops from £2,199 to £1,799.
The FMJ A29 Class G amplifier is reduced from £999 to £849, while the A39 goes from £1,599 to £1,299.
The company has also held prices on its CDS27 and UDP411 disc players, which have recently had firmware upgrades. The price freeze comes despite the fact that Arcam has experienced cost increases.
Arcam said it believes the price cuts will help drive additional business over the Christmas period.
