| Sky and ESPN lining up joint deal for Scottish Premier League | |
| 03 July 2009 Sky and US sports broadcaster ESPN are expected to announce a joint bid to screen the Scottish Premier League next season. The Independent reported that the two broadcasters are close to tabling an offer for the rights and that an announcement could be made today. The bid is for the five-year package originally won by failed pay-sports broadcaster Setanta, but is expected to be lower than Setanta's original offer. | |
