Sky Anytime+ to roll out from Tuesday | Back |

Following the roll-out, Sky+HD set-top boxes will be able to connect to the Sky Broadband network to access the service - most will be ready to receive the service by the end of the year.
The service is available at no extra charge to subscribers and will offer access to, among other things, more than 600 films, popular entertainment and drama “box sets” and documentaries as well as content from Sky Movies, Sky Sports, Sky Arts and Sky 1. It will also offer programming from third-party channels.
The Sky Anytime+ interface is an extension of the existing Sky+HD electronic programme guide (EPG).
Because downloaded content will be ready to view before it has fully downloaded, it can be ready to watch in less than a minute, said Sky.
“Through Sky Broadband, customers can now explore a rich library of programming to watch on-demand through their TVs,” said Sky’s deputy managing director of marketing, Stephen van Rooyen.
