Now advertisers join critics of YouView | Back |

Advertisers are said to be concerned that the new platform could be a quasi-monopoly.
It is the latest in a line of complaints from Virgin Media, Six TV, IP Vision and United for Local Television.
Ofcom is expected to rule on YouView next month.
ISBA director of media and advertising Bob Wootton pointed out that the BBC Trust was the only industry body to examine YouView.
"The BBC Trust is a regulator for a publicly-funded, tax-backed business,” he said. “Why has that been the sole point of regulation for something that is both hybrid and commercial?”
