This year, an increasing number of associate members have joined electrical retailers’ association Retra.

They have joined from a variety of sectors – manufacturing, recycling and distribution.

Associate members that have joined retra in the last 12 months are: Amica, Beko, Coolectric, Direktek Distribution, Energy Saving International, ERA-Online, Haier, Home-tek Europe, Hoover Candy, Make It Cheaper, Micro-Peripherals, Morphy Richards, Sagemcom UK, Tempo International, Yamaha Music Europe and World of Recycling.

“To see such strong support from associate members of the independent retail sector really is gratifying, and we hope that this will continue,” said Retra chief executive Bryan Lovewell (pictured).

“During these difficult and challenging times, the increase of these new members and partnerships is encouraging, and provides solidarity for everyone.”

Retra now has 80 associate members and it said it is willing to talk to other companies who want to work with the association, and the independent retail sector.
