Supermarket chain Asda has launched trade-in and pre-owned games in 235 of its stores across the country following a five-store trial.


Asda customers will now be able to trade in unwanted games against other titles or in exchange for money put on to an Asda Buy, Play, Trade card. This can be used to get money off the price of future games or can be spent on other products across the store.

Asda last week offered a trade-in deal which allowed customers to buy FIFA 11 for the Xbox 360 or PS3 for just 97p.

 

The deal ran for three days and, said Asda, “was a phenomenal success” allowing it to gain thousands of pre-owned leading titles from its customers.
