Panasonic boss calls for industry to unite on 3D | Back |

Panasonic boss Keith Evans has called on the industry to get behind 3DTV and “really drive it with complete and utter passion”.
Speaking at the Retra conference in Birmingham today, Mr Evans, Panasonic UK’s managing director, said: “It’s critical that we pull together as an industry, retailers and manufacturer.
“3DTV is a technology that’s really going to excite the public and it’s gaining a significant amount of interest – it provides a real opportunity for us all to pull together to make value-added sales.
“Quality retailers are perfectly positioned to take advantage of this.”
Mr Evans said it was imperative that store staff are trained to maximise “every opportunity and every sell-up opportunity”.
He told delegates: “Differentiate yourselves with superior knowledge and make staff passionate to promote the best customer service in your business.”
